INCOMPATIBLE THINGS

Americana, Roots, & Blues Singer-Songwriter Dick LeMasters recently completed recording his third solo album Incompatible Things, to be officially released on November 1, 2017, during Douglas Greer and Dick LeMasters 5th European Tour.

Incompatible Things follows LeMasters prior solo albums Gasoline & Fire and One Bird, Two Stones, which are available on CD through CD Baby and MyTexasMusic.com and digitally on iTunes, Napster, etc. On this latest 10-song effort, LeMasters offers original, heartfelt songs in a mostly acoustic format, joined by Douglas Greer on background vocals and Mickey Rouse on upright bass.

When not touring in Europe, Dick LeMasters performs regularly across Texas at venues such as Saxon Pub in Austin and Poodie’s Roadhouse in Spicewood. LeMasters has opened shows for Charlie Daniels, Chuck Berry, Randy Rogers, Paul Thorn, Shinyribs, and many other Americana acts.

Visit the Calendar page of his website for the latest info on upcoming shows. LeMasters performs solo, as part of a duo with Douglas Greer, and with the bands The Greers Get Right Ramblers, and Longneck Road.

Initial reviews are overwhelmingly. Some great independent EU excerpts previewed LeMasters Incompatible Things and saying:

  • With Incompatible Things, Dick LeMasters has once again treated his fans to a beautiful acoustic listening album featuring atmospheric and intimate Americana. The late, great, lamented Guy Clark has found his successor. (Gerrit Schinkel, Blues Magazine, The Netherlands)
  • One Bird, Two Stones is a solid album that would snuggle nicely beside the likes of Ray Wylie Hubbard with a raw-boned electric edge to many of the songs. (Paul Kerr, Blabber’n’Smoke, Scotland)
  • There isn’t any weak moment in this album. LeMasters belongs to the kind of demanding songwriters who only include a track in an album if they are totally satisfied with it. (Sam Pierre, Le Cri du Coyote, France)
